Summer Broccoli Salad

I got this recipe from my mom in law. It is one of my favorite summertime recipes.

2 crowns of broccoli, coarsely chopped
1/2 red onion, coarsely chopped
1/4 to 1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds
shredded mozzarella cheese to taste

dressing:
3/4 cups mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
1/8-1/4 cup vinegar (i prefer apple cider, but white works ok, too)
1-3 tablespoons of white sugar
celery seed to taste

Toss dressing and salad together. It is best chilled for a little before you eat it. This recipe serves about 4-5 people.

ok so what's the 'solid gold'. I love that you have 6 best friends from college too...BYU really is the greatest place! So funny thing about being back at the Y...although i didn't have any time to run to the Career Placement Center I saw Scott Greehouch! or however you spell it. He was one of the presenters at a meeting b/c he was giving info on how the alum can stay connected in the new 'linked in' blog thing for careers. Anyway...i totally talked to him and he gave me the scoop on everyone. I just had to laugh at all his funny comments like when I asked if Marsha was still working there he was liek..."working?" well she still sits at her desk and talks but I don' think you can call that working! SOunds like not much as changed around there. Dottie is still there of course but Arnold isn't...you probably knew that though...I think he's been gone a while now. But Scott has actually moved his office to the ALumni House so he doesn't even work with them in the Wilk anymore. He said he was tired of all the drama over there so one day he just picked up his stuff and moved...kinda funny! I really was bummed I couldn't make it over there and say hi to everyone. Next time i guess! Well ok...hope all is well with you and your little ones!

p.s. all your recipes look amazing! I think it's awesome you have a seperate recipe blog...I wish I enjoyed cooking better...I'm not very good at it so i guess that's why! But i need to try some of these. I printed up your grahm cracker pie with pudding or seomthing a long time ago...oh the eclair cake...that looked amazing and I have been meaning to try it now forever but have been trying to stay away from too many sweets. Anyway...i am impressed with you so I'll just keep browsing through and maybe one day make something!
